Announcement: The Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) has officially adopted GRADE for developing guidelines. This is great news, in particular in view of the fact that IDSA develops guidelines in collaboration with several of the respiratory societies that have adopted GRADE. IDSA is looking for experienced GRADE members who might be able to coach on GRADE/collaborate during the development with guidelines. I will also be working with them when there are projects that happen in collaboration with the American Thoracic Society and promised to help them on occasion when I discussed with the responsible officers of IDSA. It is a fun group to work with and their guidelines have significant impact around the world. - Holger -
